# Pikeway — pay-per-call API gateway for AI agents

Agent flow (no need to load the catalog): POST /v1/discover {"query": "what you need"} → POST /v1/inspect {provider, endpoint} → POST /v1/run {provider, endpoint, input}. discover/inspect are free and need no key.
Ready-made task prompts with the endpoints they use and their cost: GET /v1/examples (also MCP prompts/list).
CLI: npm i -g @pikeway/cli → pikeway discover -q "..." / pikeway inspect / pikeway run (key or --x402).
Call any API below through: GET/POST /gw/<slug>/<path>
Auth: `Authorization: Bearer <pikeway-key>` or x402 `X-PAYMENT` (pay USDC per call, no account).
Only successful calls are billed. MCP server at /mcp.
Free sandbox: GET /mock/<slug>/<path> returns the endpoint's example response (no key, no charge).
WebSocket endpoints: wss://<gateway>/ws/<slug>/<path>?key=<pikeway-key> (connection fee + optional per-message/minute; closes 4402 when balance runs out).
x402 discovery: GET /x402/resources lists every pay-per-call endpoint with its payment requirements.

- **GeckoTerminal** (`geckoterminal`, Crypto): DEX pools and tokens across 200+ networks: trending and new pools, OHLCV, trades, token prices. Free public tier: about 10 fresh calls a minute are shared by all callers; responses are cached for 60s.
- **GoPlus Security** (`goplus`, Crypto): Token, address, approval, NFT and dApp risk checks across EVM chains and Solana: honeypots, taxes, owner powers, phishing. Free public tier.
- **CoinGecko** (`coingecko`, Crypto): Prices, market caps, volumes, coin metadata across 10k+ assets and 200+ exchanges.
- **Birdeye Market Data** (`birdeye`, Crypto): Multi-chain token price & market data (Solana + EVM). Real-time prices, OHLCV, token overview.
- **Etherscan Multichain** (`etherscan`, Crypto): EVM explorer data (V2, multichain): balances, token transfers, contract ABI/source, logs, gas.

- **DefiLlama TVL** (`defillama`, Crypto): Open DeFi data: protocol/chain TVL, DEX volumes, fees, stablecoins. No auth.
- **Foxhole X Data** (`foxhole-x-data`, Social): Clean, read-only X (Twitter) data for agents: profiles, tweets, KOLs, engagement graphs and posting patterns. First-party Pikeway upstream.
